Dyeing

Dyeing is the application of dyes or pigments on textile materials such as  fibers , yarns, and fabrics with the goal of achieving color with desired  color fastness . Dyeing is normally done in a special solution containing dyes and particular chemical material. Dye molecules are fixed to the fiber by absorption, diffusion, or bonding with temperature and time being key controlling factors. The bond between dye molecule and fiber may be strong or weak, depending on the dye used. Dyeing and printing are different applications; in printing, color is applied to a localized area with desired patterns. In dyeing, it is applied to the entire textile.

The yarns are dyed first before the fabric manufacturing stage. The yarn dyeing happens in hanks or in package dyeing. Package dyeing is a method where yarns are wound on perforated cones placed in a dye vessel. The dye solution is then alternatively pushed inside out and vice versa.

Machine Dyeing

Machine Dyeing

These are the most popular hank dyeing machines, these machines are designed to have liquor flow parallel to the yarn and they work with low liquor ratios to save substantially in consumption of thermal energy, water and chemicals. The material to be dyed in hanks is loaded on the sticks, generally, two sticks are used one at the top and the other at the bottom. The bottom stick is used to avoid yarn entanglement during the liquor flow. The carriers are loaded with sticks having hanks, the sticks are supported into slots made in the body of the carrier.

Cheese Dyeing

Cheese Dyeing

The invention provides a cheese dyeing process. The cheese dyeing process comprises the steps of loose spooling, chamfering, yarn pressing, dyeing, dehydrating, drying, and spooling. Since strand reeling is avoided in cheese dyeing, the cheese dyeing process has a series of advantages: low hard waste, low labor intensity, high automatic degree, good quality, and the like.

Fabric Dyeing

Fabric Dyeing

A dyeing process is the interaction between a dye and a fibre, as well as the movement of dye into the internal part of the fibre. Generally, a dyeing process involves adsorption (transfer of dyes from the aqueous solution onto the fibre surface) and diffusion (dyes diffused into the fibre).
